Export Unfolded

The function Export Unfolded saves the flat pattern of the active sheetmetal part as DXF file. The program ignores the function call if the active part document is not a sheetmetal part.

The program uses the the settings from the tab "DXF Flat Pattern" in the Settings Dialog.

By default, the name of the sheet metal part file is also used as the name of the DXF file. However, the name generator can also be used to generate other file names that contain iProperty values from the respective model file, for example. Three separate name configurations can be defined for each file type and when the button "Export Unfolded 1", "Export Unfolded 2" and "Export Unfolded 3" is called, the corresponding configuration is used in each case.
